Sad

My heart broke as I heard that Chile had a major earthquake. You see, I served my mission there in the Vina Del Mar Mission, just north or Concepcion. However I have many friends who are dear to me who live there, in the Concepcion/Talcahuano area. I found out today that they are all ok, but they have lost everything. My heart breaks for them, but I know they will be alright.

Keep praying for them!

I love this movie, oh yes, I do! The first time I watched it I cried. I cried and I cried! The thought of ever losing my husband is pure torture. But, I really like this movie. I love, of course, that part of it was filmed in Ireland, and obviously that her husband is Irish. Could that be the reason why I love it so much? I don't know...I just do. The emotion in it is so real and touching.

Today I have been feeling sick, again. We came home from work and Ryan cooked some dinner - to which I am grateful for. Then he told me that he had recorded a movie for me that was on TV (we just switched cable providers and have free HBO for a few days - WOOT!)

He turned it on for me, and it was this movie. As cheesy as it may seem, I felt such love from him at that moment. Probably because when I rented it the last time he said he didn't like it. But, tonight we watched the whole thing because he wanted to do something nice for me. I love that man! I really do! I'm grateful that he loves me and takes care of me.

I love you Ryan! Thanks for the movie tonight.

A few reasons why Mom is the best there is.

1. She's soooo incredibly loving and caring. No matter who you are she will treat you like Gold.
2. She always makes it a point to compliment someone when she's out and about running errands, at a restaurant, at the grocery store, etc. She will always put a smile on your face.
3. She loves the Lord. Her testimony runneth over.
4. She has the best laugh, especially when she starts crying because she's laughing so hard.
5. She makes you feel like you're the most important person.
6. She is HILARIOUS!
7. She is the best Grandma, and loves her grandkids.
8. She loves her family so!
9. She leaves funny messages on my voice mail, always making me laugh and brightening my day.
10. She brought music into our lives, which I will be forever grateful for.

I was going through some 2009 pictures today and realized I never posted this one. These are some of the great people I work with.

We decided for Thanksgiving that we'd take a picture of us Managers and then give one to each of our agents (about 60+ are mine). We had so much fun with this session. I still crack up looking at them.

My dear sister, Erin, who is 18 months older then me is celebrating her Birthday today.

32. She is an expert at taking self portraits, not many people can do that; it's an art.
31. She can do the "Muriel's Wedding" dance with perfection.

29. She is willing to drive through 2 different states and back home in 2 days to see family for 1 night.

17. She's an amazing writer. I wish I could write as good as she does.

11. She finds great joy in scaring me, whether it's sending me the Michael Jackson "Thriller" picture, or by wanting to listen to the EVP's on 101.9 the End, during Halloween.

8. She is loved so deeply by her nephews and nieces, and she loves her nephews and nieces so much.
