Vacation anyone?

I need a vacation. I want to sit on a beach and soak up the sun. I want to see beautiful places and take pictures of said places. I want to experience something new; like be in one of those cages in the water, surrounded by sharks.

I think that if I can lose the weight I need to Ryan should give me a mega reward like sending me to Ireland or Hawaii. I can picture it now.......

Exercise update

Two weeks and still going strong!! Am I crazy to say I'm actually enjoying my work out routines? Sure it was hard at first - it's still not easy, and I sweat a lot but I feel good. I'm excited to continue on and see the changes. :)

Exercise and me.

Hi exercise, it's me. I know it had been a while since we'd gotten back into the rhythm of things, but it was so great to get together with you the other night. Yes, you have caused me a great deal of pain to which I am still feeling, but it's all good - I'll get used to it.

Now that we're in each others lives again we've got to get a few things straight. First of all have you heard of the term, "I help you, you help me"? Well, this is going to be the standard to which our friendship is based. I promise to work hard, but I need you to make me feel great, and confidant. Help me to not care whose watching me, or feel self conscious because I run like a girl, and most importantly help me to not give up.

Please don't cause me to faint like you almost made me do the other night. You also made it difficult for me to breathe, but I forgive because I need you.

With that said here's to a new blossoming frienship that I pray will never end.

It's good to have you back!!!

1 fish, 2 fish...

Over the past...umm...yeah or so I've been somewhat brave in tackling my fear of Seafood. To help me conquer this fear Ryan has done a few things to help me be brave, for example:

-Going out to dinner at McGrath's Fish House. (I have to admit that the first few times I would only eat their fish and chips, which I can handle. I think last time I got a Fish dish, grilled to perfection - it was yummy!)

-Buying a big pack of Sushi from Costco. (I finally got brave to eat them on my own with out Ryan begging me to "just try it". I can honestly say now that I like Sushi. Mind you there are still a few types that still scare me, but at least I'm trying.)

Now, here's where this get's good...

Yesterday at work we had a company cater for us
(which they'll be doing for the whole month of February - awesome!). They had soup and bread bowls, and salad - yummy! There were two choices of soup; Chili and Salmon Chowder. Can you guess which one I chose????

SALMON CHOWDER, baby! And man - it was D'VINE!!!

I also LOVE JCW's Halibut...I could seriously eat it everyday!

So, I must confess that the idea of eating Fish is growing on me, and I'm not that afraid anymore.
Now, this doesn't mean that I'm going to jump right in and eat shrimp, oysters, lobster, crab
(actually this was in the sushi I liked). But it does mean that I'm sure one of these days I'll come around to it; baby steps is the key.

...out of the mouth of babes

I stole this from Megann's blog. I thought it was so cute and such a great reminder. Amamzing that a little boy said and understood all of this. Make sure to turn my music off at the bottom of the page so you can hear him.
