"Shannon Hadden
Congratulations! Based on our review of your application, you qualified for the program and have been approved as an Affiliated Photographer to serve on behalf of the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation."
This is the email I got yesterday from this foundation that I had applied for about 2 months ago. I'm so excited to be a part of this foundation! If any of you don't know what 'Now I lay me down to sleep' is, it's a non-profit foundation that helps families who have a baby that was still born, or died shortly after birth. A photographer goes to the Hospital and takes pictures of the baby so that the parents have some portraits to remember of their child, who didn't live long enough to be taken to a photo studio with their blessing outfit, etc. Obviously this is only if the family wants these pictures taken.
The first time I heard about this was from a co-worker who heard it on the news. After watching the video on KSL I was moved to tears and knew I wanted to be apart of it. How amazing it is to be able to give this act of service to families in their most trying time. I'm so grateful to now have the opportunity to be a part of it.

Hello there, Sannon! I am so happy you found me :) Yes, we have lots of catching up to do. Congratulations on your acceptance to the foundation. I have never heard of it! That is a very noble thing you're doing and will be much appreciated, I'm sure.
You look very happy and I can't wait to hear more about what's going on with you. I love your photos, by the way. They're gorgeous.
Wow Shan! That is soo cool! You will be so great at this.
WOW what a great opportunity you have. That is such a great program.
I love love love the new background. So cute!!!
that is awesome that whole thing made me cry I dont know if I could do it! That is too cool! I seriously think I couldnt handle it. I would cry and run out of the room....you will rock!
Yeah I know I'll be crying for sure when I do this...but it'll be worth it.
I lost a ababy back in October and my sister in law has lost 2 daughters. I wasn't far enough along to take photos but I can't tell you how amazing you are to take pictures for these aching families. I know the organization and they do wonderful work. What a wonderful service.
Thanks again for the good time on Thursday. Anytime you need a guinea pig to take photos of, I'm all yours. I can't wait to see how they turn out.
You are wonderful! Thank you for all you do!
Shannon! I'm so happy you're doing this! I don't know if you know about our little David's rocky start, but he was in the NICU for two weeks. Severely ill.
We had my photographer friend take pictures directly after the birth, and didn't realize how precious those moments were until we weren't sure if we'd ever be able to hold him again.
I know the families will appreciate your service. I think it's so lovely. Congratulations!
Wowzer dowzer, these photos are incredible. The Shane and Sharon Curran Crew are outstanding photos. You are my sweet daughter. Love you, Momzer
