My heart broke as I heard that Chile had a major earthquake. You see, I served my mission there in the Vina Del Mar Mission, just north or Concepcion. However I have many friends who are dear to me who live there, in the Concepcion/Talcahuano area. I found out today that they are all ok, but they have lost everything. My heart breaks for them, but I know they will be alright.

My cousins finally got a call from their brother (who is serving in Concepcion) for like 2 minutes at 4 o'clock this morning. His mission has been working like crazy all day, and now they are getting low on food and water. It's like his mission turned into a draft for war. I must say, 'tho, that I am looking forward to hearing his stories at his homecoming.
I have been thinking so much about Chile too. Who have you heard from? I have been thinking about people from our mission...I can't imagine what they are going through. They are in my prayers.
I've been thinking about you too. How's life? When are we going to get together??? Miss ya.
I can't believe how much the earth is moving and shaking right now. They are all in my thoughts and prayers as well.
