I was reminded that it was my 5 year anniversary when my bosses, and all the people I work with came over to my desk clapping. I was fearful for a split second, but then as they sang "Happy 5 year Anniversary", it hit me that this was the day...
...the day that I said goodbye to Kiddie Kandids, after having been there for 5 years, and the day that, even though I started at the bottom, I would end up on top here. And I have. I've been a Manager here for over 4 years. I Love it!
Sure there are some harder days when you're responsible for roughly 40+ people, and when deadlines are coming up and I feel like my brain can't retain anymore information, and I feel more frustrated then ever...
...but then there are the times when I'm greeted by the most amazing people around. I have the best co-workers, bosses, Supervisors, Team Leaders, agents. They make the difficult days seem like nothing. Seriously, I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with.
Not to mention we have the BEST founders of the company, who created a culture unlike any other. We have fun at work. We work hard, but we definitely play hard.
I'm grateful for these past 5 years. Here's to 5+ more...

Thanksgiving fun with my bosses (Kaj, and TJ on the top left) and the other managers, Sadie and Violeta on the bottom. Cheri, TJ's assistant is next to me. The others don't work here anymore.
Some of my agents thought this would be funny for me to find while getting to work early one morning, and heading towards my desk. It was fun!
