Thanksgiving tomorrow

I love this time of year! love, love LOVE IT! It's been especially cool this year with my journey to healthy living and getting excited about Thanksgiving and Christmas...not because I want to eat and bake all these sugary things, but because I'm excited to introduce new desserts and things that I can enjoy that aren't made of white sugar and that are healthier. I'm excited for that challenge! I'm excited to make these things a staple in our home for the holidays and holidays to come. I'm excited that I have no desire to indulge, and over-indulge, in things that are bad for my body.

Do I sound crazy? Maybe to some...and maybe to my former self. But yes, I'm excited!

You wanna know what I'm bringing to our Thanksgiving feast tomorrow? Well, I will tell you.

Roasted Parmesan Green Beans.
These are healthy little suckers roasted with a little Olive Oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper
and then top it off with a bit of shredded Parmesan...yummm!

I get a free pass tomorrow from the organic food and substitutes. Have you ever tried quinoa(pronounced keen-wa). I made it in a protein bar last week with brown rice syrup for the natural sweetener and it wasn't too bad for being healthy. The desserts by the way look divine. Have a great Thanksgiving!
