5k

Well, I did it! I actually did a 5k. However I didn't run it, exactly, I mostly speed walked. I did jog a bit here and there, but nevertheless I completed a 5k! I'm so proud of myself!

The 5k was sponsored by my work, XanGo. It was their Grand Opening today for their 2nd building here at Thanksgiving Point; we go all out for special events here! Part of the Grand Opening was to have a little fun and do a 1 mile walk or a 5k, whichever you wanted to do. I signed up, got a cool XanGo T-shirt (one of many that I now own), and dressed all up in XanGo attire to impress the judges. They had prizes for those who won, as well as the person who had the most creative finish line crossing, the one who could be spotted from a Helicopter, the one who was showed the most XanGo spirit, and the one who had the most creative head gear - which is what I won.
