Sabbatical - the big 35!

I still can't believe I'm 35 years old. I feel like I'm 27.

I had a great time on my birthday.

Last Christmas Ryan gave me tickets to see WICKED...on my birthday. I was thrilled! I have wanted to see that play for years. So happy!

So, that morning he got me McDonalds breakfast in bed - a family tradition since I was a wee lass, except now that I'm married there are no kids begging for a tiny morsel of a hash brown, or a teeny tiny taste of pancakes, or a itty bitty sip of OJ. Nope, I got to enjoy it all to myself. Yeah, I know it's not the breakfast of champions...but it was fun.

For lunch we ate at Happy Sumo - yummo.

Then it was time to get home and get ready for Wicked.

I had no idea what to expect. I mean, I had heard the soundtrack and absolutely LOVE the song, 'Defying Gravity' as well as 'For Good', but Caiti had told me I would be so surprised at what happens.

And surprised I was! I even surprised myself by bursting into tears on 'Defying Gravity'. It was so powerful and the voices were amazing...it just really got to me. It was awesome!

If you have a chance to see it...DO IT! You will not regret it.:)
